SHOOTER/EDITOR
Scene Interactive (www.sceneinteractive.com)
is currently searching for candidates for a position within our organization as
a shooter/editor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This individual will be responsible for capturing and
editing digital video as part of our suite of offerings. This will include:
- Working
with our client Casting Director’s to capture, edit, and upload video of casting
calls in our NY studio.
- Shooting
and editing performance pieces within our studio, both acting and dance,
to be included on sceneinteractive.com .
- Shooting
and editing individual readings of sides for Casting Directors/Producers
outside of the NY region (primarily California).
- Shooting
dance competitions and the judges commentary as part of an intranet
offering for the competitors, possible creation of DVD’s
as well (This will include weekends occasionally).
- Editing
numerous Scene Interactive Video Podcasts as well as the shooting and
editing of new footage for upcoming podcasts.
In addition, the individual is expected to be a team player
and to assist in general office duties, which may include:
- Assistance
in scheduling studio time for our performers as well as 3rd
party photographers, videographers, etc.
- Answering
client questions about our services.
- Preparation
of images for marketing campaigns (jpegs, pdf’s).
- Studio
set-up and breakdown
- Other
marketing related duties as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge
of Final Cut Pro Editing software
- Knowledge
of Panasonic DVX 100A or similar
cameras.
PLUSES
- Some knowledge
of web design and development – Flash, HTML, etc.
